Yesh, let's ignore Android. Ya know, the largest mobile platform on Earth.

When you're limited on resources, it's common to just focus on one. Which one? The one that your developer knows. They probably only have an iOS developer. It'd be nice if we could natively write in one language for both platforms, but that's not going to happen. Existing "frameworks" that bridge the two are limiting and more for making games.
